Personalised Poetry Sample
The son of a soldier, my husband Paul.Ever since that small child had a fall,
And I saw you, I knew right there,
For humankind in all you care.
My love for you has many roots,
From rural France to hiking boots.
But what is love without respect;
and recognition of your intellect.
More than that for what you've used it,
Less integrity than you'd abuse it.
Caring not for wealth and station,
You passed it on to the next generation.
A generation otherwise deprived,
Giving them education you thrived.
I just wanted to let you know,
That I really love you so.
